These nets have been quality-control tested with athletes ranging from 8 to 18 years of age in Ottawa, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. They are able to take the kind of impact and rigorous wear and tear associated with regular shooting drills. 1 or 2kg diving weights* placed in pockets sewn into the rear of the net prevent balls from passing under the net upon impact. The Quickshot bucket and fiberglass pole system has been developed to ensure the stability of the net.
Each bucket holds 20 liters of water, offering a combined weight of 88 lbs. Fiberglass poles are ed into the net (similar to tent pole assembly) to create a solid frame. The high quality mesh permits a line of sight in both directions, making the nets safe to use from an aquatic standards or water safety point of view. A net can easily be set up by one person.
